As a greeter and store security associate you are responsible to deliver outstanding customer service, by being friendly and have a basic understanding of the merchandise we sell. You are also responsible for protecting company assets. The Greeter/Store Security reports to the Store Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains a high level of customer service skills
  • Greets Customers with a friendly hello upon entering the store
  • Distributes text promo card and explains benefits
  • Directs customers if required (example, if exchange or return direct customers to register area).
  • Thanks the customer
• Adheres to company policies to protect company assets.
• Must be able to execute all security policies and procedures that pertain to your specific store regarding customers entering and exiting.
  • Bag check at arrival
  • Merchandise alarm retrieval
  • Receipt checks
• Knowledgeable on basic company policies and procedures (example: store hours, merchandise location, text promo)
• Needs to be able to answer customer questions, or knows how to find the answer.
• Maintains work space including vestibule area by keeping things neat and organized.
• Can follow directions accordingly. Can multi task efficiently.
• Communicates well with customers, store associates, and management.
• Works well with others.

Qualifications for Greeter/ Security Associate

Experience: Prior retail/loss prevention experience preferred. The candidate should have at least 2 (+) years' experience.

Education Level: High School level or above. Candidate must possess a basic proficiency in English, Math, Reading and Writing.

• Must be reliable and work in a flexible schedule environment (including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
• Can react accordingly under difficult circumstances.
• Detail oriented. Must be able to observe and react to suspected theft situations.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
• Can work in a fast paced team environment.
• Must be multi task oriented.
