Number of positions:16Department:509-Parking and TransportationContact Name:Linda LindleyContact Phone/Extension:610-519-6998 Position Summary Information Job Description Summary:This position is responsible for operating university-owned passenger vehicles/fleet vans as a Late Night Campus Shuttle Driver for Nova Van On Demand.

• Ensure safe, courteous and timely transportation of student, faculty and staff members.
• Provide assistance to passengers entering and exiting the vehicles.
• Log all activities and transport.
• Refuel vehicle as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License required with a good driving record and no traffic violations.
• Must be able to meet and maintain the VU driving privileges as outlined by Villanova’s Risk Management’s Motor Vehicle Record Policy for Driving of University Vehicles.
• Must be able to find a replacement driver if you can’t work your scheduled nights.
• Must be available for rotation at least once a month for Friday and Saturday nights.
• Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule.

Additional Information:Driver checks in at Public Safety to pick up iPad, keys and van. Reports to area in area of Connelly for transports starting at 9:00pm. If coming in for the later shift, meets the driver on duty at Connelly. At 1:00am driver returns iPad, keys and van back to Public Safety/Dispatch.

Transports are only for on-campus locations or approved drop-off locations.Physical Demands Summary:

• Must be able to drive for an extended period of time, consistent with contemporary standards for professional drivers.
• Must be physically capable of assisting passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle.
