As the Facilities and Equipment Manager you will be responsible for the functions outlined below:
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for demonstrating commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies and procedures.
- Manage upkeep of landscaping, grounds, and other outdoor spaces across all properties to include shooting ranges, training facilities, etc.
- Oversee general maintenance and care of the manufacturing plant(s), private estates, and investment properties, ensuring they are well-kept and presentable.
- Coordinate with staff or contractors for routine and specialized services as needed.
- Ensure the proper functioning of equipment and building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other essential infrastructure.
- Monitor usage and condition of machinery and tools, arranging for repairs or replacements as necessary.
- Implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Liaise with third-party vendors and contractors for maintenance, repairs, and other services, ensuring work meets quality standards.
- Manage service agreements, reviewing contracts periodically to ensure alignment with requirements and budget.
- Assist in developing budgets for property and equipment maintenance, ensuring costs are controlled while maintaining quality standards.
- Track expenses related to property/grounds upkeep and recommend cost-saving measures as appropriate.
- Ensure properties and associated equipment comply with local codes and safety regulations, making adjustments when necessary.
- Support safety initiatives across all properties, coordinating inspections and addressing any potential risks.
- Oversee various projects related to property enhancements, renovations, or equipment upgrades, adjusting plans to accommodate changes.
- Monitor progress to ensure work aligns with expectations, timelines, and budget considerations.
- Participates in the company’s efforts to continuously improve in Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery and Productivity.
- Expected to be a contributor to the company standards on high integrity, safety, fair and equitable treatment and a positive work environment
- Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary by management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Background in facilities management, equipment maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience managing diverse properties, including commercial and residential.
- Understanding of building systems, equipment maintenance, and vendor management.
- Ability to adapt to varying priorities and responsibilities across different property types.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a flexible approach to managing multiple tasks.
- Certifications in Facilities Management, Project Management, or related areas are advantageous.
- Experience in both residential and commercial property management.
- Ability to move between multiple locations as needed
- Capable of performing physical tasks related to facility inspections and equipment maintenance.
- Demonstrated ability to recognize and work in accordance with our Permission to Play Values.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 pounds
- Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting and bending throughout the workday
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, to include working in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, etc.
- Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required by your position and/or Company policy
