Non-Invasive Cardiology Tech at Community Foundation of Northwest Indiana – Munster, Indiana

MUNSTER LOCATION

Performs a variety of cardiovascular procedures. The certified cardiovascular technologist will be expected to function independently and demonstrate sound judgment based upon knowledge and application of professional, departmental and organizational principals and standards. Duties are performed under the supervision of the Director Cardiology Service Line and/or the Management Team of the Non-Invasive Cardiology and with medical direction from physicians.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- High school graduate or equivalent.

- Typing and computer skills in data entry.

- Graduate of approved school of Cardiovascular Technology.

- Current credentials as a certified Cardiovascular Technologist (or pass exam within 1 year of hire date).

- Minimum of 1 year experience in stress testing, holter monitor, and ECG preferred or complete in-house training within 6 months of hire date.

- Current
BLS certification.
