About This Position

Occupational Therapist - Inpatient, Per Diem

Mt Ascutney Hospital is a small rural based hospital in historic Windsor, Vermont. It has CARF accredited Inpatient and Outpatient Rehabilitation programs.

The Rehabilitation Program is seeking a per diem occupational therapist to join our supportive team of skilled clinicians. Experienced team members are available to provide opportunities for mentorship if desired. We have a clinical ladder program recognizing expertise and providing opportunities for advancement, with associated compensation.

Occupational Therapist Job Summary:

Responsible for providing OT treatments to patients based on an evaluation of patients’ need and status. Maintains appropriate records and assists with in-services and community health programs.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an approved school of OT. Certification and current license in the State of Vermont. Must demonstrate effective communication skills and overall professional behavior.

Pay Range: Min $36.49 / Max $56.56

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic inpatient department. A willingness to learn, strong communication skills and accountability are a must. Responsibilities include evaluations and patient-centered treatment for patients with a variety of diagnoses, maintaining appropriate electronic medical records and interdisciplinary communication.
