Marketing & Communications Expert at Education News PNG – Port Moresby, National Capital District

The Department of Education seeks to engage a local expert or company to provide short-term Marketing and Communications services to the PNG Education Transformation Vision 2075 (PNGETV 2075) assignment currently underway.

The specialist will be responsible for specified marketing and communication sensitization as contained in the PNGETV 2072's Public Awareness and Engagement Strategy. These include realization of customized communication plans and key messages to achieve maximum awareness levels and visibility of PNGETV 2075 among key stakeholders, education authorities at the sub-national level, schools, teachers, students, parents and the wider public throughout the country.

Key tasks include creating and managing media awareness through on/offline media platforms, and public information channels through all mainstream and social media networks.

The specialist will work with the Technical Advisors of PNGETV 2075 Secretariat and the Media & Communications Section of the department, according to the project's scope and objectives, and within the set time and budget. The engagement commences in November 2023 and ends in July 2024.

Expression of Interest (EOI) should include a statement detailing sustainability of the role and relevant experiences in the field along with a statement of availability for the role.
