About This Position
Job Overview:
The Learning Management System for RWJBH’s Training is an application that keeps record of all learning related to RWJBH’s Information Technology (IT) systems. A core functionality of this system is its ability to dictate appropriate training based on appropriate access as well as when a learner is cleared to have access to RWJBH systems. This application supports all Epic application teams and most IT applications as it includes the training curricula builds, courses, assessments, and various learning material needed to be assigned to the learners. Other support features include running internal reports, creating, and assigning E-Learning, and organizing required and supplemental instructor-led training.
In addition, the Training Analysts will assist as needed with IT Help Desk support and Technical training.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Three years related work experience
- Three or more years LMS administration experience, preferably in a health care setting
- Complete knowledge of office procedures
- Advanced level skill in Excel and other MS Office applications
- Experience with building courses, curricula, and assessments in LMS
Certifications and Licenses Required:
- Obtaining certification as an Application Analyst in one Epic application is required.
- Expected to maintain certification as current by completing New Version Training (NVT) as applicable
Essential Functions:
The LMS Analyst III is responsible for a wide range Learning Management System/IT tasks and training support activities to facilitate the efficient workflow of Epic training of end users on the application. This position will provide expertise when working with one or multiple teams in implementing changes to the LMS. The LMS Analyst 3 will consistently provide analysis to assist with planning for improvements and strategies for implementation. Acts as a liaison between the application teams and the LMS team to ensure best practices are followed to ensure accurate builds and execution.
- Research and resolve LMS functionality issues.
- Provide and develop roles, security, and enrollment management.
- Solve advanced technical problems; investigate and seek solutions to complex issues and perform onsite installation or replacement of various hardware and software for LMS.
- In conjunction with the Principal Trainers, document all LMS configurations, procedures, and workflow diagrams.
- Give individual or group instruction to users or plan for instruction of software or systems.
- Runs reports as needed to show LMS usage.
- Identify, resolve, and escalate project issues (when necessary) within a reasonable time.
- Schedules and prioritizes with limited input and utilizes project management processes to maintain schedules and deadlines.
- Encourages knowledge sharing amongst peers and business partners. Actively promotes informal mentorships within the team. Maintains visibility to group strategic roadmaps.
- Encourages the creation of system documentation to support becoming a learning organization.
