We are seeking to hire an Engineering Manager for the Albany NY office. Ideal candidate would be either a mechanical, electrical, or energy engineer. As Engineering Manager, you will be responsible to focus on three main aspects: 1) Managerial leadership, 2) Technical leadership, and 3) Business development. Projects will be focused on innovative, clean energy, electrification/decarbonization projects.
Responsibilities:
· Coordination with program and department managers, design and project teams, and construction managers.
· Business development of clean energy projects in the geographic region.
· Recruiting and supporting growth of a mechanical, electrical, and energy engineering team.
· Mentoring of the regional clean energy engineering team.
· Preliminary systems assessment and high-level project strategy development.
· Field investigation and condition assessment of existing systems, primarily mechanical, electrical, energy systems.
· Assist in the development of project and proposal preparation.
· Development of basis of design scopes of work, schematics, and P&ID drawings.
· Development of implementation plans & schedules.
· Presentation and report writing.
· Meeting with clients to support engineering projects throughout design and construction.
