JOB SUMMARY Calavo Growers has a unique student Internship opportunity for those looking to develop skills and knowledge of the agriculture industry and have a passion around fresh foods. This opportunity will include on-the-job training and networking with experienced professionals to gain industry experience covering the life cycle of positions within the industry and the avocado supply chain. This will include food safety, sales, marketing, quality control, production, support functions and best practices. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES This role is developmental and intended to provide a learning opportunity and aspects of key business processes to effectively support the management teams and Calavo Growers objectives. Routine responsibilities include: Works alongside the management and team members to learn key business drivers and functions within sales, marketing, operations and food safety.

WORK DEMANDS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this Job it is primarily working in an office environment with prolonged sitting, standing and walking. Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, grab, carry items, talk, or hear with frequent use hands to finger, handle, and lift up to 30 lbs. Some administrative functions.
