Job Summary
The Complaint / Appeals Coordinator will be responsible for receiving, handling, processing, investigating and resolving all complaints and appeals brought forth throughout Avera Health Plans with a 90% resolution and/or outcome.
Education and/or Experience
- Degree in Health Care Administration or Business Administration Preferred.
- Two years of experience in a health care or health insurance setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of Complaints and Appeals processes in a healthcare or managed care environment is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Familiarity with data extraction tools is desirable.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday; 80hrs/2wks
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $19.50 - $29.50 per hour
