Job Summary

The Trauma Registrar will provide technical support for the Trauma Registry and Trauma Program under the supervision of the Trauma Program Manager. The Trauma Registrar will analyze, code, and abstract the clinical and demographic data of the Trauma patients and transcribe that data into the Trauma Registry, utilizing all available source of information to complete the abstracts in a timely fashion.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Associate’s degree in healthcare or related field is preferred.
  • Two years of experience in acute care, trauma and/or emergency services is preferred.

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday; 80hrs/2wks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

  • $22.00 - $31.75 per hour
