Physician Assistant at Berkshire Health Systems – Pittsfield, Massachusetts

Join our brand-new High Risk Clinic at Berkshire Health Systems in Pittsfield, MA, as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. This role offers significant autonomy and the chance to help design a program focused on truly comprehensive care for patients facing complex, everyday challenges.

• Conduct in-depth health assessments and develop individualized care plans

• Provide holistic medical care, addressing physical, mental, and social needs

• Coordinate with Behavioral Specialists, Care Coordinators, and nursing staff

• Assist patients with non-medical needs such as securing housing, employment, or transportation

• Maintain patient engagement without volume-based pressure—no set daily patient quota

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, including primary care

• Experience in integrated care or harm reduction models preferred

• Comfort working with high-risk populations (PTSD, severe anxiety, SUD, disabilities)

• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Extensive multidisciplinary support team including Behavioral Health Specialists and Care Coordinators

• Robust nursing support and administrative resources
