CAH –Clinical Dietitian – Full Time-Day shift-8-430p -Requisition 8853

Pay: $32.46-$43.01*

Must be able to travel to our Ogdensburg hospital 2 days a week.

The Clinical Registered Dietitian provides clinical nutrition services for Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center’s patient care units including; Med Surg, ICU, OB, and Mental Health, provides nutritional education to the community, participates in OPI process, and acts in accordance with organization goals in PITs.

EDUCATION:

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition Science with completed Dietetic internship

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

Required:

• Registered with the Commission of Dietetic Registration

• Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist (CDN) certification within two years of position start date

TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:

Required:

• Maintaining continuing education hours, 75 hours every five years

• Ability to be self-motivated, independent, professional and dependable

• Ability to work with others as a team to ensure quality patient care and efficiency

• Basic computer knowledge

• Maintaining confidentiality of all patient information

• Maintaining quality assurance and compliance with all regulatory agencies

• Ability to implement and support procedures and programs pertaining to

• patient safety and security

• Exhibit proficient communication skills and ability to deal efficiently and effectively with a variety of personalities

• Ability to sustain attention to detail and accuracy as it pertains to the monitoring and documentation of information
