CAH –Clinical Dietitian – Full Time-Day shift-8-430p -Requisition 8853

Pay: $32.46-$43.01*

Must be able to travel to our Ogdensburg hospital 2 days a week.

The Clinical Registered Dietitian provides clinical nutrition services for Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center’s patient care units including; Med Surg, ICU, OB, and Mental Health, provides nutritional education to the community, participates in OPI process, and acts in accordance with organization goals in PITs.

EDUCATION:

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition Science with completed Dietetic internship

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

Required:

Registered with the Commission of Dietetic Registration
Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist (CDN) certification within two years of position start date

TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:

Required:

Maintaining continuing education hours, 75 hours every five years
Ability to be self-motivated, independent, professional and dependable
Ability to work with others as a team to ensure quality patient care and efficiency
Basic computer knowledge
Maintaining confidentiality of all patient information
Maintaining quality assurance and compliance with all regulatory agencies
Ability to implement and support procedures and programs pertaining to
patient safety and security
Exhibit proficient communication skills and ability to deal efficiently and effectively with a variety of personalities
Ability to sustain attention to detail and accuracy as it pertains to the monitoring and documentation of information
