I. Major Responsibilities:
1. Operates light trucks, vans and other vehicles to transport supplies. May drive large 26 ft, 26,001 lb capacity box truck.
2. Operates pallet mover.
3. Loads and unloads supplies, secures in truck; transports safely.
4. Delivers supplies to main campus loading docks, and to offsite departmental customers as needed.
5. Completes accurately all delivery records required.
6. Participates in all Material Handler/Storekeeper job activities including receiving, stocking, picking and delivering supplies.
7. Participates in periodic physical inventory of supply locations.

II. Position Qualifications:

License/Certification/Education:
Required:
1. High school graduate or equivalent.
2. Must possess appropriate Massachusetts motor vehicle operator’s license.

Experience/Skills:
Required:
1. Able to communicate effectively with co-workers.
2. Able to read, write and understand basic instructions, verbal and written.
3. Able to perform basic arithmetic functions.
4. Able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, reach throughout the workday.
5. Able to lift 50 lbs.
6. Able to push and pull wheeled carts up to 300 lbs.
7. Employees must be at least 18 years of age to perform this role.
