Our support coaches work side by side with individuals with intellectual, physically, or mental disabilities, ensuring they can participate in all they want to do. This includes exercising, visiting museums, community centers, playing nerf wars in the park or community events. We encourage individuals to live their most fulling and active life.
Staff for this position needs to be able to focus on individual's needs, encourage the individuals to be active, give praise for a job well done, and advocate for the individuals to live their best life possible.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized support to clients in developing daily living skills and achieving personal goals
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including personal care, hygiene, meal preparation
- Support skill-building in areas such as communication, self-advocacy, time management, and independent living
- Implement behavior support plans and positive behavior interventions
- Facilitate social skills development through structured activities, recreation, and community outings
- Provide community-based support, including transportation to appointments, work, and social activities
- Accurately document client progress, behaviors, and daily activities using required data collection systems
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, case managers, and other healthcare or behavioral health professionals
- Administer medications as prescribed in compliance with safety policies and state regulations

Full-Time/Part-time Available
Monday-Friday, Tuesday-Saturday
9:00AM-3:00PM

Required Skills
- Patience, compassion, and strong interpersonal communication
- Ability to handle challenging behaviors calmly and professionally
- Dependability and time management
- Basic household skills (cleaning, cooking, laundry)
- must be able to lift 75-100lbs.
Position Requirements
- Minimum -High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 19 years old
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Motor vehicle Record
- Safe insured/ registered vehicle
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required
