Quality Technician 1st Shift at Vandor Corporation – Richmond, Indiana

SUMMARY: This position works directly with the manufactured product with the direction of the Quality Manager collecting test and measurement data as indicated on the In Process Inspection Sheets. This position reports to the production supervisor but also works directly with the Quality Manager to ensure the products manufactured meet the customer requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect product for start- up approval on injection processes.
• Perform measurement and test procedures to satisfy in process inspections.
• Verify part to label inspections preparing for shipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good math skills are a requirement.
• Understanding of measurement and test equipment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Some Injection Molding Experience is preferred.
