Cahier- Basking Rdige at Green's Natural Foods – Basking Ridge, New Jersey

Duties/Responsibilities:
Greets customers as they enter Greens Natural Foods.
Processes different forms of payments and makes accurate change to ensure no overages or shortages.
Assists customers with questions or price discrepancies.
Processes returns and exchanges according to store policy.
Maintain a clean and organized front end.
Assists customers in locating various products, resolving complaints, or providing information.
Bag, box, and wrap purchased items.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent customer service skills.
Good verbal communication skills.
Ability to work as a positive team member.
Ability to operate available equipment, such as cash registers and scanners.
Basic mathematical skills, as needed to make change and give refunds.
Natural food knowledge is helpful.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Successful completion of on-the-job training.

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods standing and working on cash register or related equipment.
While performing this job, you will regularly be required to talk, hear, reach, bend, stoop, carry, push, and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
May need to work nights and weekends as scheduled.
Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time.
