DESCRIPTION:

This is a job training program for adults over the age of 55+

MaturityWorks, a program of The WorkPlace, would like to invite individuals 55 years or older who meet the eligibility guidelines to be a part of our Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) by applying for open positions in Connecticut.

This Federally-funded program provides work-based training for low-income individuals 55+ who are looking to reenter the workforce by matching participants to community service assignments for up to 20 hours per week. This is a supportive training and employment program that is designed to improve the employability of older workers. Specific assignments are tailored to the interests and abilities of individuals enrolled in the program. MaturityWorks has immediate openings in Montgomery County, PA. $7.25/per hour. Max. 20 hours per week.
