About the role:

As the Flint Valley Grounds Manager you will work to create clean, safe, and attractive grounds for our guests and campers to enjoy God's creation, rest, fellowship, have fun, and find spiritual renewal. You will think through first impressions as you maintain the grounds of Flint Valley, accenting creation, so that guests and campers are drawn closer to Him. You will do this through maintaining inner camp, lawns, landscapes, water features, and other areas.

About you:

• • You love being outside, and can work in all types of weather.
  • You have experience maintaining workplace grounds.
  • You have regional plant knowledge, including annuals, perennials, trees, diseases, bugs, etc. (this can be learned on the job).
  • You can operate necessary grounds care machinery.
  • You can systematically think through and manage multiple projects at once.
  • You are self-motivated and take initiative in your work.
  • You exhibit Christlike character and professionalism in your behavior, language and attitude, and will hold others to the same.
  • You are comfortable managing and coaching direct reports in their work and development.
