Your Role as a Nursing Assistant:

1. Patient Care: Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
2. Vital Signs Monitoring: Measure and record patients’ vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
3. Mobility Assistance: Help patients with mobility, including turning, positioning, and transferring.
4. Patient Comfort: Ensure patient comfort by providing clean linens, adjusting beds, and responding promptly to call lights.
5. Support Nursing Staff: Assist nurses with medical procedures and provide support during patient care activities.
6. Documentation: Accurately document patient care activities and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff.
7. Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
