1st & 3rd Shift Team Leader at Aldez Containers – Georgetown, Kentucky

We are actively hiring for a Team Leader:

1st Shift: 6:00AM - 2:45PM

3rd Shift: 10:00PM - 6:45AM

Duties:

Supervise a team of 5-15 team members· Supervises logistics operations

· Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy

Achieve 100% customer satisfaction100% on time delivery100% satisfaction of quality standards100% correct sequencingFocus on continual improvement and operational efficiency through excellence in receiving, identifying, inspecting, and assurance of quality and inventory control of inbound and outbound shipmentsMeasure and report the effectiveness of activities and employees performanceCommunicate job expectations and coach employeesInterface with customers to answer questions or solve problemsMaintain records, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse statusReview and communicate changes needed to established Work Instructions (WIS) as needed; continually analyze for areas to improve existing processesCreate an inspiring team environment with an open communication cultureSet clear team goalsOversee day-to-day operationDiscover training needs and provide coachingListen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflictsEnsure the safety of the team members assigned to your area of responsibilityEnsure defects are within company standards as well as all other key performance indicatorsEnsure all team members are following the posted work instructionsMaintain a clean and organized the working areas following 5SQualifications:

Must pass a drug screen and Nationwide background checkMust be flexible to work any schedule, and potential daily overtime and some weekendsPunctual, regular, and consistent attendanceAbility to speak, read, and write English requiredBasic math skills requiredVerbal and written communication skills requiredAbility to stand, walk, squat, stoop for 8-12 hour shiftsAbility to work in a non-climate controlled area (where applicable)Minimum 2 years fork truck experienceMinimum 2 years leadership experienceAbility to follow written work instructionsBenefits:
