We’re looking for a data-driven storyteller who can turn customer insights into powerful marketing action. As our Marketing & Customer Database Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in driving profitable customer growth by transforming complex data into clear, actionable strategies. By leveraging analytics, CRM expertise, and a deep understanding of customer behavior, you’ll help shape smarter marketing decisions and optimize loyalty initiatives that boost acquisition, engagement, retention, and lifetime value across both paid and owned channels. Position Duties:
  • Lead analysis of customer behavior and trends, segmentation performance, and campaign results across paid and owned channels.
  • Deliver actionable insights that drive customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly analysis against marketing objectives and KPIs
  • Recommend and inform A/B testing and optimization strategies.
  • Oversee CRM reporting and ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of customer data.
  • Maintain database health through audits, cleansing, validation, duplication, and ongoing data quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and manage audience segmentation models to support loyalty and targeted marketing campaigns
  • Monitor and report weekly on key marketing KPIs.
  • Set up and track coupons, loyalty offers, and promotional campaigns, measuring redemption, incremental revenue lift, ROI, and margin impact.
  • Support performance marketing initiatives through audience targeting analysis and campaign performance reporting.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and executive-level reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Communicate insights clearly to stakeholders and marketing partners
  • Support loyalty program planning and budgeting.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 4 years of college or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2-5 years in CRM, database marketing, or marketing analytics.
  • BI tools, NetSuite and related engagement/reporting platforms such as CECS (or similar systems) preferred. SQL or other data querying languages.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on meeting deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships across departments and with key business stakeholders.
  • Solid experience within a retail environment, particularly in managing communications accounts and campaigns that align with business goals.
  • Ability to manage competing pressures, including partner dependencies, change requests, and off-process situations, while ensuring the smooth execution of loyalty initiatives.
  • Knowledge of the creative process, with comfort in overseeing vendor and third-party relationships, including managing collaborations with freelancers and external agencies.
  • A passion for or understanding horticulture is a plus, enhancing the ability to connect with the target audience and effectively communicate the brand's offerings.
