About This Position

Position title: Campaign Director

Location: Baltimore, MD, United States | (Remote)
Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
  • Minimum 8 years’ of fundraising experience.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience directing the execution of complex, high-profile events.
  • Documented experience in the development and implementation of integrated digital marketing, communication, and content/event plans.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of Catholic Church and its teachings.

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Broad knowledge of and/or experience with fundraising campaigns.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team setting as leader, participant, and facilitator.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team setting as leader, participant and facilitator.
  • Ability to coach a team to increase level of performance.
  • Exceptional representational skills to interact with volunteer leadership, high profile donors and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional collaborator with strong team management style and creative problem solver.
  • Knowledge of principles and techniques relevant to Major Gift fundraising, Annual Giving fundraising and Planned Gifts.
  • Knowledge of principles and techniques relevant to donor engagement and stewardship.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Good decision-making skills, tactful, good listener, willingness to search out answers, ability to recognize when others need to be involved in activities or decisions.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent organization skills, detail oriented.
  • Ability to work with a wide range of individuals.
  • Strategic planning and agile project management skills.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to learn and work with computer systems and digital communications tools, including fundraising database systems.

Required Languages: English

Travel: Must be willing and able to travel up to 10%.
