Job Overview

A and S Fire Protection, Inc. is actively seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with at least 5 years of experience in fire sprinkler installation who takes pride in quality workmanship, reliability, and leadership in the field.

As a Fire Sprinkler Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing fire sprinkler systems across residential, commercial, industrial, and government projects. This position offers steady, full-time work and the opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects throughout Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install fire sprinkler systems in accordance with project plans and specifications

  • Perform modifications, repairs, and maintenance of sprinkler systems

  • Assist with system testing and inspections in compliance with NFPA standards

  • Read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings

  • Work efficiently and safely on residential, commercial, industrial, and government job sites

  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and jobsite professionalism

  • Support crew leadership and collaborate effectively with team members

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and other trades on site

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in fire sprinkler installation

  • Working knowledge of NFPA 13 and NFPA 25 standards preferred

  • Strong leadership skills and field knowledge

  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and reliability

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications

  • Valid drivers license in good standing

  • Dependable personal vehicle for transportation to job sites

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation & Benefits
  • Compensation:
    • $20.00 $35.00 per hour, depending on experience

    • Prevailing wage projects available

    • Weekly pay cycle
