About This Position

The Hardware/Inventory Attendant is responsible for accurately receiving, counting, stocking, and maintaining materials and supplies to support production operations. This role ensures inventory accuracy, stages materials for upcoming jobs, and upholds quality, safety, and customer service standards.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• None
Competencies:
• Ability to accurately count, verify, and track inventory while identifying discrepancies or defects.
• Skilled in maintaining orderly inventory systems, stocking materials, and staging supplies for production.
• Effectively communicates with supervisors and coworkers to ensure smooth operations and provide high levels of customer service.

Essential Functions:
• Count, verify, and maintain accurate inventory of materials and supplies.
• Receive and check materials against Receiving records.
• Stock items into correct bins and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Pre-pull, kit, and stage materials for future jobs.
• Notify supervisor of damaged, defective, or discrepant materials.
• Perform continuous cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow departmental policies, quality standards (ISO9001/AS9100), and safety/environmental procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and support production needs.
• This is a designated safety-sensitive position

• Wash parts when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare routine paperwork.
• Strong math and number verification skills.]
• Familiarity with inventory/automated systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Capability to safely receive, track, and distribute goods.

Essential Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to safely lift up to 75 lbs. on occasion.
• Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to climb stairs, reach, bend and kneel to retrieve and stock inventory.
