THE POSITION:

As a Sales Floor Team Member, you will:

• Greet and welcome customers with enthusiasm
• Assist customers with world class customer service
• Operate the POS to ensure accurate and efficient sales data, price, and information codes on books
• Build and maintain an awareness of current literary trends and popular titles
• Support a full & fresh inventory by continuously stocking and rotating merchandise
• Manage a clean, neat, organized, and safe sales floor

THE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent customer service skills
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Prior experience in a retail environment preferred
• Six months of cash handling experience preferred
• Prior experience working with books preferred
• Must be willing and able to work days, evenings, and weekends
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation

THE PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and reach for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry or otherwise move up to 25 pounds with no support regularly
