About This Position
· Assist supervisor to be sure that employees are producing product according to company specifications.
· Complete inventory skid tickets and attach to skid of finished goods and keep white copies.
· Correctly complete production reports and turn into supervisor at the end of shift with
· Make sure all employees on lines are productive.
· Call Maintenance for of any problems that may arise and inform Supervisor of all on go going issues.
· Inspect filters and filter packaging at various stages of production, making corrections to meet quality specs.
· Keep accurate hourly production/scrap/downtime records.
· Keep work area clean and free from debris.
· Make machinery and die line adjustments as necessary.
· Make sure all materials are available in a quick, efficient manner to eliminate downtime.
· Must be able to determine if material is good quality.
· Order and return raw materials.
· Performs transactions within internal computer systems
· Reject any raw materials that do not meet company specifications and inform Quality or your Supervisor of the problem.
· Responsible for making sure that raw material is ready to be able to produce product in a timely, efficient manner so that down time is limited.
· Responsible for producing and packaging product that meets company quality specifications.
· Scan QR labels, print and attach to skid of finished goods.
· Sets up line for the filter production; manage resources to achieve the highest efficiency.
· Be sure that employees are working in a safe manner by adhering to all safety regulations.
· Follow directions given by management and supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor / Manager.
Requirements:· Prior work experience in manufacturing (PREFERRED)
· Ability to work and train others in multiple positions on the line
· Strong communication skills
· Must be able to use a tape measure accurately
· Must be able to work well with others
· Must be self-motivated and need very little supervision.
· Must have basic math skills and ability to read and follow a schedule
Ability to operate a pallet jack and all other material handling tools
