Surgical Services Manager at Bryan Health – Kearney, Nebraska

Responsible for collaborating with the Director of Procedural Services on the direction of Operating Room, Endoscopy Department and Sterile Processing Department. Leads and evaluates staff members in the Operating Room, Endoscopy & Sterile Processing Departments. Consults with staff, physicians and the Director of Procedural Services on nursing issues and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met. Coordinates with surgeons, scheduling, and management to maintain the surgery & endoscopy schedule and assignment of staff and equipment. Maintains performance improvement activities within the departments and participates in CQI activities.

• A minimum of five years’ experience in the Operating Room.
• A minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience.
• Current Bachelor’s degree in a related healthcare field preferred or enrolled in a program.
• Current BCLS, ACLS and PALS certification required.
