Floor Manager at Dead Freddies Island Grill – Ocean City, Maryland

High volume restaurant in Ocean City seeking qualified candidates for Floor Managers. Looking for individuals that are accustomed to a fast-paced environment and a large staff. Opportunity to grow with the organization, or just a seasonal position if preferred. Flexible availability required – morning, daytime, and evening shifts. Management experience preferred, but not required if applicant has extensive restaurant background and a desire to advance their skill set. Training provided.

Job duties include enforcing policies and procedures, supervising and ensuring a high level of customer service, as well as communicating expectations to the staff. In addition, duties potentially include accomplishing human resource objectives such as scheduling, monitoring and reviewing job contributions, as well as coaching and counseling employees.

Ideal candidates have some combination of strong people skills, communication skills, and/or a passion for the food and beverage industry. Must be able to work on their feet and move around all day. Computer knowledge and experience with the Micros computer system is a plus.
