JobDuties and Responsibilities:
• Oversight of Client's Contractor(s) performingPre-FEED and FEED;
• Work with the Export pipeline engineering teammembers during pre-FEED and FEED, support personnel in their roles,responsibilities, and objectives as necessary;
• Ensure technical compliance throughout theengineering of the gas export pipeline equipment;
• Anticipate and ensure adequate and timelyreporting to the Pipeline Manager of any concern, issue, or potential deviation;
• Propose timely and adequate solutions andoptimizations;
• Liaise with other package teams (SURF and SPS)for interface matters with the support of Interface Managers and leads;
• Work with the SURF engineering team membersduring FEED, support personnel in their roles, responsibilities, and objectivesas necessary;
• Ensure progress, fitness for purpose, andcompliance with Client Rules and Specifications, Project requirements andinternational codes of all engineering for umbilicals, flowlines, risers, andassociated items during FEED, Contract finalization, and Project preparation;
• Provide review of fitness for purpose andcompliance to Project and Client requirements of SURF Competitive FEEDTechnical offers;
• Assist with the technical clarifications withTenderers and ensure timely closing of Technical qualifications
• Ensure that all engineering, procurement,fabrication, construction, testing, qualification, pre-commissioning andcommissioning aspects are suitably addressed during the FEED phases by timelyreview and validating the relevant SURF documentation issued by SURF EPCIContractor(s);
• Ensure technical compliance throughout the FEED,Contract finalization, and Project preparation phases;
• Anticipate and ensure adequate and timelyreporting to the client SURF Lead with any concern, issue, or potentialdeviation;
• Propose timely and adequate solutions andoptimizations;
• Liaise with other package teams (FPSO, Drilling,etc.) for interface matters with the support of Interface Managers and leads;
• Ensure all technical, QA/QC and HSE projectpolicies and requirements are duly implemented and ensure Contractors'compliance with contractual requirements in all areas;
• Ensure safe working practices are implementedwithin the team during FEED;
• Participate in Project Reviews;
• Schedule and execution plan oversight;
• Participate in key workshops;
• Review documents as required;
• Identify, implement, and coordinate any study,testing or survey necessary to ensure readiness and fitness for purpose.
Qualifications(Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
• For candidates with engineering degrees attainedoutside the U.S., the candidate must have attained an E.I.T. designation from aU.S. based state licensing board;
WorkingConditions:
• Work is primarily conducted in an officeenvironment (Private or Semi-Private office) but may require occasional travelto off-site work locations;
• Field duties may require outdoor work in aplant or offshore platform atmosphere;
• Interaction with other team members, as wellas supervisors and client personnel;
• Working offshore or in plant and/or shop areasaround production machinery with extreme noise levels;
• Must be able to wear safety equipment asrequired by the safety department for personal protection;
• May be at more than one job site in a day andmust be able to tolerate climate changes;
• May be required to travel out of town on aperiodic basis.

- Requires ten (10) or more years' experience in engineering design of SURF projects (duties defined above);
- Availability and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously;
- Availability and ability to work overtime as needed based on project;
- Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to interact with staff at all levels;
- Ability to interact with staff at all levels.
