Description:

We are seeking a strategic, analytical, and creative Marketing Strategist to assist the Marketing Supervisor with the planning, development, production, and execution of marketing materials that build brand awareness, drive engagement, and support revenue growth.

This role bridges big-picture marketing strategy with hands-on campaign execution, ensuring cohesive and impactful marketing efforts across digital, traditional, and social media channels. An essential focus of this position is social media strategy, including scheduling and producing short-form digital content to support storytelling, monitoring content, audience engagement, tracking performance, promotional campaigns, and emerging marketing trends. This role works closely with our Social Media Content Creator to ensure consistent content, maximize impact, and support the brand’s social media presence.

The ideal candidate will have strong campaign management skills, a solid understanding of media strategy and analytics, and a passion for translating customer insights into actionable marketing initiatives. This position works closely with the Marketing Team and collaborates cross-departmentally to ensure marketing efforts align with company messaging, seasonal initiatives, and overall business objectives.

The Marketing Strategist reports directly to the Marketing Supervisor and plays an important role in supporting the execution and optimization of marketing strategies across the organization.

This position is Full-Time and requires availability on weekends and holidays. The standard work schedule is Wednesday – Sunday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, but may vary depending on park hours, campaigns, and event schedules.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns supporting seasonal initiatives, events, brand priorities, and revenue goals.
  • Translate business objectives into actionable marketing strategies with measurable outcomes.
  • Support campaign planning, launch, monitoring, and post-campaign analysis while maintaining marketing calendars and timelines.
  • Assist with planning and executing paid and organic media across digital platforms (search, social, display, email) as well as traditional channels such as print and broadcast.
  • Help develop and implement social media strategies that increase brand visibility, audience engagement, and follower growth.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor social media content while tracking engagement metrics and optimizing performance.
  • Develop and execute PR strategies to increase brand visibility.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media, and partners.
  • Write and distribute press releases and media pitches.
  • Coordinate media visits, press events, and influencer experiences.
  • Monitor media coverage and manage press inquiries.
  • Capture and coordinate on-site photo and video content to support social media storytelling, promotional campaigns, and event marketing.
  • Ensure brand messaging, voice, and visual identity remain consistent across all marketing materials and communications.
  • Conduct market research, analyze audience behavior, and monitor competitor activity to support effective targeting and messaging.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance using marketing analytics tools and provide reporting and recommendations for improvement.
  • Test new content formats, marketing tools, and strategies to improve engagement and campaign effectiveness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing strategy, campaign management, or digital marketing.
  • Professional experience in public relations and media relations, including outreach to publications, news, radio, or digital media outlets.
  • Experience in tourism, hospitality, entertainment, or event-based industries.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
  • Experience creating or managing social media content and audience growth strategies.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience producing short-form video or digital content for social platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or executing integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels including social media, paid advertising, and content marketing.
  • Experience using marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager) and social platform insights.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
