PRN Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) at PATHWAY IMAGING LLC – Sugarland, Texas

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented PRN Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) to support our Sugar Land location on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures (abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts as applicable)
• Prepare and position patients to obtain optimal diagnostic images
• Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings to ensure image quality
• Verify patient identity and physician orders prior to procedures
• Identify and document anatomy and abnormalities for radiologist interpretation
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and PACS systems
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, providers, and staff
• Provide compassionate care and clear instructions to patients
• Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions

Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program

ARDMS certification required (AB, OB/GYN, RVT preferred)
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience preferred
Strong knowledge of sonographic imaging and anatomy
Ability to work independently in a clinical setting

Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday availability required
