DESCRIPTION:

The Mitel Technician is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of Mitel communication systems, including VoIP phones, PBX systems, and related applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, program, and configure Mitel communication systems such as MiVoice Business, MiCloud, and MiCollab
• Perform regular maintenance, system updates, and software patches to ensure optimal performance and uptime
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues affecting Mitel voice systems
• Manage user accounts, extensions, call flows, and system configurations based on operational needs
• Collaborate with IT and network teams to ensure proper integration between Mitel systems and other enterprise technologies
• Provide end-user support and training to ensure effective use of system features and tools
• Maintain thorough documentation of configurations, updates, and troubleshooting processes
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for escalated support or complex repairs

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience supporting or administering Mitel communication systems
• Strong understanding of VoIP, SIP, telephony, and networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN)
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• Mitel Certified Associate or equivalent certification preferred
