About This Position
Trainer - Anticipatory Opportunity
Qualifications:
FreeBalance is seeking candidates under an Anticipatory Opportunity for potential project needs in East Timor.
Professional Experience- Proven background in training delivery within IT system implementation projects (e.g., ERP, IFMIS, or Tax Administration systems).
- Hands-on involvement in designing and facilitating end-user training sessions, as well as developing training materials (manuals, guides, presentations).
- Demonstrated ability to lead “Train-the-Trainer” initiatives and build internal training capacity.
- Participation in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system rollout, providing training and user support.
- Exposure to government institutions or public sector environments is considered an asset.
- International project experience is considered an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, information technology, public administration, or a related field.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to adapt training approaches to different audiences and operational contexts.
- Structured approach to knowledge transfer and user enablement.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with multicultural teams.
- Fluency in English and Tetum (written and spoken) is required.
