About This Position

Contract Contingency Notice: This position is contingent upon contract award. Employment offers will be extended only upon successful contract award and client approval. Candidates may be considered and interviewed in advance to support rapid onboarding should the contract be awarded.

What you'll be doing:

We are hiring a Full Stack Engineer to join a modern and exciting program in the VA space.

Working hand in hand with other engineers in developing end-to-end testing solutions and API

endpoints and services, day to day work will involve writing code, developing tests, and

debugging.

What you’ll bring:

● 3+ years experience working with a Rails backend

● 3+ years experience with a front end JS framework (preferable React)

● Strong experience with Python

● The ability to develop, implement, maintain, and enforce policies, procedures, standards,

and requirements around testing across VA

● Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for testing-related risks

● Provide training and awareness of testing governance programs

● A solid understanding of API design and how backend systems work

● Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with sprints and daily stand-ups

● Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team of engineers including data scientists, UX,

product and software engineers

● Strong communication skills along with the ability to work well as a team and enjoy

constantly learning and adapting are highly desirable

● Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

● Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. In alignment with federal

obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and/or a security clearance.

Compensation:

At Wilcore, it’s important each employee is compensated competitively and fairly. In alignment

with state legal requirements. A range for the included position is listed below. Be advised,

actual offer details are determined by job category, job location, and candidate skill level.

United States Wage Range: $100,000 – $140,000
