Job Title: Human Resources Business PartnerPurpose of Position
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) works closely with managers and leaders to support employee development, strengthen leadership effectiveness, and improve employee engagement and retention across the organization. This role provides day-to-day HR partnership to leaders by offering guidance on employee relations, performance management, recruiting, and leadership development.
The HRBP plays a key role in building a high-performing workforce by supporting professional recruiting efforts, delivering leadership training, and partnering with leaders to address organizational and employee challenges. Working collaboratively with the HR Manager, this position helps implement HR programs, policies, and initiatives that support Press-Seal’s culture, operational goals, and long-term talent strategy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Assist with the recruitment process for managerial, exempt, and professional roles including candidate screening, interviewing, and selection support.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand the skills, competencies, and leadership capabilities required for open positions.
- Support strategic workforce planning by helping leaders identify talent needs and develop strong candidate pipelines.
- Conduct new hire orientation and support onboarding initiatives that help employees successfully integrate into the organization.
Training, Leadership Development & Employee Growth
- Develop and deliver training programs that strengthen supervisor and manager leadership skills.
- Support broader leadership development initiatives that promote a high-performing and engaged workforce.
- Provide guidance and resources to leaders to support employee development and career growth.
Employee Engagement, Retention & Culture
- Analyze turnover and retention trends and partner with leadership to develop initiatives that improve employee engagement and workplace culture.
- Support initiatives that strengthen employee satisfaction, organizational effectiveness, and retention.
- Promote a culture of accountability, communication, and continuous improvement across the organization.
HR Programs, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain current knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in human resources and talent management.
- Support the HR Manager in implementing HR programs, policies, and organizational initiatives.
- Ensure HR practices align with employment laws, company policies, and organizational values.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Proficiency with, or the ability to quickly learn, the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to continuous improvement initiatives.
Preferred
Bilingual in Spanish
Experience with HRIS implementation or administration
Education and Experience
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive human resources management experience
Preferred
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience recruiting for professional, exempt, or leadership roles.
Experience supporting employee development or training programs.
Work Environment
This position operates primarily in a manufacturing environment and requires a consistent on-site presence. The role may involve exposure to heat, cold, fumes, uneven surfaces, and outdoor conditions.
