About This Position
Lone Mountain Land Company (LMLC) manages the planning, entitlement, building, marketing, and sale of premier real estate communities around Big Sky, Montana. The company supports world- class operations at Spanish Peaks Mountain Club and Moonlight Basin and oversees real estate activities at Spanish Peaks, Moonlight Basin, Big Sky Town Center, and other projects in the Big Sky region.
Position Summary
The Community Manager provides administrative, operational, and project coordination support to the Regional Community Manager for the Town Center Owners’ Association (TCOA), associated condominiums, and sub-associations. This role supports day-to-day community operations, vendor coordination, board and committee administration, financial tracking, and homeowner communications.
Job Duties:
Administrative & Operational Support
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Regional Community Manager across multiple associations.
- Maintain organized records including contracts, permits, insurance certificates, and governing documents.
- Track tasks, deadlines, renewals, and follow-ups.
Financial & Budget Support
- Assist with preparation of operating and capital budgets.
- Track invoices, assessments, and budget variances.
- Coordinate with accounting on AP/AR and reporting.
Vendor & Project Coordination
- Collect and organize vendor proposals.
- Track contracts, insurance, and compliance.
- Assist with scheduling and site coordination.
Board, Committee & Meeting Support
- Schedule meetings and prepare agendas and packets.
- Take meeting notes and assist with minutes.
- Track action items.
Community & Homeowner Communications
- Respond to routine homeowner inquiries.
- Assist with drafting notices, emails, and updates.
Design Review & Compliance Support
- Support ARC application intake and tracking.
- Track approvals, deposits, and compliance milestones.
Facilities, Events & Infrastructure Support
- Assist with facility scheduling and permits.
- Track infrastructure assets and conditions.
Work Schedule & Availability:
Availability to work weekends and some holidays is required, as needed to support community operations, events, and time-sensitive matters.
Qualifications:
• 1–3 years related experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently inspect the project and may be exposed to ongoing construction and various weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud. This position is sometimes performed in outside weather conditions.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to walk and stand for extended periods; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length. The position requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must also occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.
