The Role

The primary responsibility of the Machinist II is to program and manufacture our high precision antenna feeds.

Key Responsibilities

Program CNC machines according to internal policies and technical documentation using MasterCam under general supervision. Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine as required.Verifies dimensions and alignment of assembly.Program and manufacture antenna feeds according to readings.Interpret and apply blueprints.Apply advanced geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.Maintain CMi Quality and safety standards.Utilize hand and measurement tools to complete various manufacturing and quality assurance functions.Complete fabrication of specialized parts on manual machines.Support custom development of fixturing.Support continuous improvement activities.Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent.Minimum 3 years of machining experienceAbility to hold tight tolerancesStrong communication skillsStrong math skillsWorking knowledge of work rules and safety guidelinesProficiency with GD&TProficiency reading blueprintsExperience using Mastercam software is a plus
