Position Information

The Lead LVN provides nursing care to patients within the LVN scope of practice and under the supervision of a provider. Responsibilities include direct and indirect patient care, resolving patient concerns, and facilities/equipment maintenance. Serves as a team leader resource in daily clinical operations. Oversees medication and vaccine management; serves as the location VFC coordinator. Responsible for clinical and administrative inventory management.The full salary range for the Lead LVN is $30.99 - $39.31 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Knowledge of fundamentals of aseptic and sterile techniques, basic bacteriology and infection and disease control. Can prepare patients for examinations and minor surgeries. Demonstrated ability to administer CPR and medication. Ability to be an effective and cooperative member of a team. Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity, to respect rights and to comply with HIPAA regulations and to show respect for patients with diverse cultural backgrounds and lifestyles.
