Facilities Maintenance Technician at Cutting Edge Countertops – Perrysburg, Ohio

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections across multiple locations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our facilities, equipment, and infrastructure remain safe, functional, and efficient to support production operations. Cutting Edge Countertops is headquartered in Perrysburg, Ohio, and has additional locations in Bryan, OH, Wixom, MI, Delaware, OH, Noblesville, IN and Indianapolis, IN.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general facility infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and resolve facility-related issues to minimize downtime
• Maintain production support systems such as compressed air, water lines, lighting, and basic mechanical equipment
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors as needed
• Conduct routine inspections to identify safety concerns and maintenance needs
• Support facility upgrades, renovations, and equipment installations
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records
• Travel between company locations as required
• Follow all safety, OSHA, and company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• 3+ years of facilities or industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general mechanical systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform hands-on repairs independently
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and climbing
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to be insured to drive CEC vehicle
• Basic computer skills for work orders and documentation
• Ability to travel via vehicle to CEC locations (between 40-50%).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting multi-site operations
• Welding, fabrication, or industrial equipment maintenance experience
• OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
