About This Position
We are looking for an experienced, autonomous, and solutions-oriented Senior IT Technician (Tier 2/3) to provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and IT infrastructure management for our corporate offices, remote users, and clinics. This position requires strong technical expertise, solid networking skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Advanced Technical Support (Tier 2/3): Act as an escalation point for first-level support by resolving complex hardware, software, system, and network issues for both head office and clinics.
- Clinic Support: Provide proactive technical assistance for clinic sites (equipment, networking, telephony, business applications, connectivity) and collaborate with vendors as needed.
- Infrastructure and Systems Management: Deploy, configure, maintain, and update servers, networking equipment, workstations, and cloud systems.
- User Administration and Security: Manage accounts, permissions, and security policies in Azure Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and internal systems.
- Networking and Connectivity: Diagnose and resolve complex network issues (VPN, Wi-Fi, firewall, VLAN, inter-site connections, cloud networking).
- IT Asset Management: Maintain up-to-date inventory of hardware and software and ensure lifecycle tracking and compliance.
- Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with IT vendors and partners.
- Continuous Improvement and Automation: Identify opportunities for IT process optimization.
- Projects and Deployments: Participate in corporate IT initiatives and cybersecurity projects.
- Training and Support: Provide user support and training on IT best practices.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain complete and up-to-date IT documentation.
Education, Credentials, Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in technical support (Tier 2/3).
- Strong experience with Windows, Azure, Microsoft 365, and cloud technologies.
- Excellent knowledge of networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, VPN.
- Experience with VoIP phone systems and collaboration tools.
Required Skills & Abilities :
- Knowledge of ticketing systems and ITSM frameworks.
- Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.
- Recognized certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are considered an asset.
