In this role, you will lead development teams to design, implement, and enhance software solutions essential to the business processes. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality, well-documented solutions while fostering strong relationships with technology vendors and IT security teams. This position requires a strong commitment to team growth and the ability to navigate complexities across multiple departments. You will drive the efficiency and effectiveness of the software team, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.Accountabilities

• Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery
• Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship
• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team
• Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team
• Collaborate with project managers and software developers to maintain business applications
• Assist in the creation of user stories, estimates and sprint plans
• Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code
• Proactively solve complex problems
• Adhere to high-quality development principles
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to processes and tools
• Hire, supervise, and train development teams
• Responsible for employee development, discipline, and performance appraisals

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or technical discipline or equivalent experience
• 6 years of experience in Software Development with progressively elevated roles
• 2 years of people management experience in a Technical field
• Financial industry experience preferred
• Experience with Go/Golang, C#, Python is preferred
• Experience with Redis, Docker, Python, Blazor, and React is a plus
• Ability to lead in an environment of onshore and offshore resources
• Experience developing in the Azure environment
• Experience with SQL Server and/or Postgres development
• Experience with CI/CD and source control management systems
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Attention to detail and accuracy required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
