These include three full-line stores in Whitinsville, Uxbridge, and North Grafton, offering lumber, hardware, paint, and lawn and garden supplies. Additional locations include a lumber, hardware, paint, and design center in Sharon, a full-service paint store in Milford, and lumber yards with kitchen design centers in Hudson, Andover, Fairhaven, Dennis, Pembroke, and Indian Orchard. We also have distribution centers in Uxbridge and Sutton. Koopman Lumber specializes in building materials and supplies, including lumber, hardware, moldings and millwork, tools, power equipment, windows and doors, engineered lumber, and kitchen products. CDL Truck Driver, A Tractor Trailer Driver
Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Store Manager

We’re looking for a CDL A Truck Driver to be the face of Koopman Lumber on the road, delivering materials safely and efficiently while keeping customer service at the heart of every trip.

What You’ll Do

As part of our team, you’ll:

• Safely drive Class A Truck to deliver materials on time.
• Stay connected with dispatch using mobile apps for real-time updates.
• Load, secure, and unload cargo using equipment or manual effort.
• Complete digital and paper reports (fuel logs, inspections, forklift checklists, etc.).
• Collect signatures, manage returns, and ensure accurate delivery paperwork.
• Keep your truck clean, safe, and ready for the road.
• Represent Koopman Lumber with professionalism while building great customer relationships.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Must-Haves

• Valid CDL (Class A ) and DOT medical card.
• Valid H1C Hoisting License. (Preferred)
• Willingness to earn/hold a forklift operator certification (we’ll train you).
• Comfort using mobile apps or tablets for communication.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Friendly, customer-first mindset.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform loading/unloading tasks.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and fit-for-duty exam.
