We are currently looking for a Principal Program Manager in the United States.The Principal Program Manager leads large-scale, multi-year strategic programs designed to enhance and scale customer and employee experiences across retail channels. This role oversees program strategy, planning, and execution, guiding cross-functional teams including business, technology, and third-party partners. The position ensures alignment with organizational objectives, manages program budgets, mitigates risks, and drives process adherence to deliver impactful results. By fostering integration across initiatives and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, the Principal Program Manager enables innovation, operational excellence, and measurable business outcomes. This role is critical in shaping portfolio-level strategies and ensuring that complex programs achieve their intended benefits.Accountabilities:
  • Lead multi-year, strategic programs, including strategy formation, process definition, organizational design, and technology delivery
  • Manage cross-functional teams of business, technology, and vendor stakeholders, ensuring talent is effectively utilized
  • Drive integration across programs, maintaining alignment with organizational goals and portfolio priorities
  • Establish program plans, including budgeting, resource allocation, prioritization, and goal setting
  • Facilitate executive-level planning, program status updates, and decision-making discussions
  • Oversee risk, issue, and dependency management, implementing solutions to ensure successful program outcomes
  • Track and evaluate benefit realization post-implementation to measure program impact
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote innovation within program operations
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering professional growth and capability building
Requirements:
  • Masters degree or equivalent experience; BA or related degree with significant work experience
  • 15+ years of relevant experience, including 710 years in retail program or portfolio management
  • 710 years of experience with Agile development and deployment practices, including agile tools
  • 57 years of experience in retail operations and marketing technology (MarTech) initiatives
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing large, cross-functional teams and complex projects
  • Strong skills in strategic planning, stakeholder management, risk management, and performance monitoring
  • Preferred certifications: Agile/Scrum, OCM or CCMP, PMP
