- Monitor and analyze file-level and storage-level data protection policies, alerts, and incidents
- Assist in implementing enterprise-wide data protection policies and ensure alignment with approved procedures
- Generate audit-ready compliance reports and support risk assessment and mitigation efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent application of data protection standards
- Apply best practices for data protection and proactively identify areas for improvement
- Provide actionable insights on data security risks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with data discovery and protection frameworks
- Practical knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and data protection principles
- Experience with data discovery and protection tools
- Ability to work across organizations of varying sizes and complexity
- Preferred: 5+ years of experience, familiarity with tools such as Varonis and Microsoft Purview, experience supporting both cloud and on-premises environments, and strong systems thinking skills
- Competitive salary range: $75,000$100,000 USD, depending on location, experience, and skills
