Warehouse Leader Responsibilities: We are looking for a Warehouse Leader to fill an immediate opening. The qualified Warehouse Leader should preferably possess a high school diploma and work experience overseeing general supply chain management processes in a warehouse environment. The Warehouse Leader will act as the liaison between the sales and warehouse teams for all past due and expedited orders. Additionally, the Warehouse Leader will perform the following tasks:

  • Lead and coordinate all warehouse operations including delivery scheduling, inbound and outbound processes, safety requirements, VMI, and special customer requirements
  • Prioritize and follow through on all past due and expedited orders to ensure timely shipment
  • Manage multiple complex workflows within the warehouse, including NCMRs, OBDs, IBDs, and PODs
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and QAD to manage delivery schedules for VMI, discrete, and distribution orders
  • Assist in managing an accurate, revolving inventory of fastener parts and rigorously investigate inventory discrepancies when necessary
  • Review and troubleshoot discrepancies between SCC and pick slips and communicate with appropriate parties as needed
  • Assist in shipping, receiving, picking, and putting away parts and customer orders as necessary
  • Operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment to move pallets, load/unload materials, and support warehouse operations
  • Assist drivers with loading and unloading trucks with customer orders as necessary
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external partners to provide order updates on late, past due, and expedited shipments
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Warehouse Leader Requirements: The Warehouse Leader should preferably possess a high school diploma or GED and have a valid driver’s license. In addition, the Warehouse Leader should preferably possess the following skills:

  • Previous experience overseeing general supply chain management processes in a physically demanding warehouse environment
    • This includes standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted, repetitive use of hands, and manual dexterity
  • Previous forklift operating experience is required (forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification)
  • Strong time management skills with proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, organize work, and prioritize job tasks to meet customer requirements
  • Proficiency in QAD and Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work overtime when necessary
