About This Opportunity
This is a foundational role supporting the growth of Samyang Canada, playing a key part in expanding our presence in the Canadian market. While this position is posted on the Samyang America careers page, the selected candidate will be employed by the Canadian entity and subject to applicable Canadian employment laws and benefits.
Location & Work Model
Candidates must currently reside in the Greater Toronto Area. This role will begin remotely and transition to a hybrid work model once our Toronto office opens.
Position Summary: We are looking for a Corporate Administrative Assistant who will serve as the administrative operational backbone of the organization. This role enables the business to scale efficiently by coordinating internal processes, managing administrative workflows, and supporting cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, finance, logistics, and operations. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of providing high-quality support in a fast‑growing, ambiguous environment, supporting the Canada BU to maintain speed, clarity, and coordination as it expands.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support across multiple functions and departments.
Coordinate internal processes, reporting requirements, and documentation workflows.
Support onboarding, vendor coordination, internal communications, office management, and meeting preparation.
Act as the operational glue across the Canada BU, enabling smoother cross‑functional alignment.
Maintain office administration needs, including scheduling, planning, and team logistics.
Assist leadership with task management, follow-ups, and organizational execution to prevent bottlenecks.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience supporting multiple departments in administrative, operations, or office management roles.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in anticipating needs before they arise.
Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across diverse teams.
Comfortable working in fast-growth, high-ambiguity environments where processes evolve quickly.
High sense of ownership, reliability, and follow-through.
Strong problem-solving skills with a calm, solutions-oriented approach.
Preferred:
Strong workflow management and prioritization capabilities.
Ability to build structure, documentation, and repeatable processes as the organization scales.
Thrives in multicultural, cross-functional environments.
Contributes to organizational speed by reducing friction and improving operational clarity.
Fluent in Korean is a strong strategic advantage for coordinating with HQ.
The base salary for this position is between CAD $46,000.00 and $69,000.00 per year.
Actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, and location.
