This role is central to transforming marketing data into actionable insights that drive business performance. As a Senior Marketing Data Analyst, you will lead the investigation of performance trends, uncover root causes, and provide data-driven recommendations that influence strategic decisions. You will collaborate closely with marketing, revenue, and analytics teams to optimize campaign efficiency, funnel performance, and ROI. This role blends deep technical expertise, business judgment, and strategic storytelling to convert complex data into clear, actionable insights. You will also pioneer AI-driven analytics initiatives, building systems that accelerate decision-making and increase marketing impact. Ideal candidates are curious, analytical, and proactive in diagnosing anomalies and proposing data-backed solutions.
Perform strategic analysis to uncover "why" behind campaign and funnel performance trends, providing first-pass diagnoses for executive decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including field, digital, events, integrated campaigns, and channel marketing, to optimize territory- and account-based performance.
Maintain data integrity and reporting hygiene across systems such as Salesforce, Snowflake, Sigma, and marketing automation platforms.
Architect and manage AI-driven analytics tools, training agents to answer complex business questions and provide actionable recommendations.
Translate complex datasets into executive-ready narratives and actionable insights to guide strategy and optimize marketing spend.
Mentor junior team members and elevate data literacy across the marketing organization.
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business operations, or data science within B2B SaaS.
Proven ability to influence executive decision-making through data and business judgment.
Expert-level SQL skills and proficiency with modern cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake) and BI tools (e.g., Sigma).
Deep understanding of B2B marketing funnels (MQL to Closed Won), attribution models, and ABM metrics (experience with 6Sense or Demandbase a plus).
Experience or strong interest in AI-driven analytics, semantic data modeling, or LLM-based data analysis.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills, capable of diagnosing performance anomalies and proposing solutions.
Strong communication and storytelling skills, able to present complex data in a clear and actionable way.
Bonus: MS degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field; experience with algorithms and optimization; experience in cybersecurity marketing analytics.
