About This Position
OBJECTIVE / ACCOUNTABILITY
Produce consistent, high-quality products within the Mix Plant while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and company standards. This role involves safely operating equipment, following established procedures, and supporting overall production operations. Team members are expected to collaborate across functions and assist in other areas as needed to meet customer needs and operational goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations & Production Support
- Operate and support the mix line and all related components.
- Operate bagging equipment as required.
- Load trucks of various sizes with different materials and quantities.
- Feed materials into mix line and bagging equipment.
- Assist with bagging operations as needed.
- Assist with general production activities as directed by the Crew Leader.
- Assist in maintaining facility cleanliness and organization.
- Keep work areas safe, clean, and orderly.
- Support housekeeping efforts across production areas.
Equipment Operation & Maintenance
- Operate equipment in accordance with company policies, safety programs, and internal operator permit requirements.
- Perform general equipment maintenance including:
- Daily fluid level checks
- Daily walk-around and safety inspections
- Daily and periodic greasing
- Lubricant changes at specified intervals
- Tire pressure checks
- Fuel equipment daily as needed.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and proper working condition.
- Report any mechanical issues to the Crew Leader.
Safety & Compliance
- Attend all Safety Tailgate trainings.
- Monitor the work environment to maintain a safe work area.
- Follow company safety policies and operating procedures.
- Ensure all product quality procedures are followed.
Teamwork & Communication
- Receive work instructions from the Mix Plant Crew Leader and occasionally from the Mix Plant Manager or Quality Control Supervisor.
- Communicate equipment or operational concerns to leadership.
- Assist team members in other areas as needed to support production goals.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Spanish speaking
- Bi- Lingual is a plus
EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCES
- 1 year operating equipment of similar size.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Physically capable of performing the required tasks.
- Safely operate powered equipment such as: fork lifts and skid steers
- Knowledge of proper general maintenance of equipment
