About This Position

Summary
Operates a Class A tractor/flatbed trailer combination unit and delivers material from our distribution center to customer locations by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Perform pre-trip inspection

• Check and secure load prior to leaving yard

• Deliver material to customers

• Assist customers in unloading and identifying materials

• Document delivery paperwork

• Return unwanted material to yard

• Perform post-trip inspection

• Operate forklift and moffett

• Maintain clean, safe, work environment and equipment

• Miscellaneous projects as assigned

• Foster positive relationships with customers and company stakeholders
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Able to follow Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations and Department of Transportation (DOT) Regulations.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience
Two years of multi-stop flatbed experience preferred, but not required. Forklift and/or moffett experience preferred, but not required. Individual must meet or exceed DOT medical requirements.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
CDL Class-A with a clean driving record reflecting adherence to DOT regulations and traffic laws.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
